Climate Challenge: The Return or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Kickstart the AnthropoCine

Hello!
I've come to work on this blog as a personal project - this time as an attempt to balance my interest for climate change and the environment, and my obsession with the film industry (or anything adjacent to either of those).
I was influenced by a previous blog I created as an assignment for my master's degree to create a new one, this time out of my own free will and a slightly different focus. To any ex classmates reading this (very unlikely), you've probably already seen it and are familiar with my ramblings. It's going to be challenging but I just want somewhere I can properly articulate my views on various films and topics in the film and environment-related industries cohesively, on a place other than letterboxd. I also love writing and can't be bothered to inject MSc level effort or brainpower into every post (see: previous blog posts) because the stakes aren't high and I'm intellectually burnt out.
I've decided to name this blog 'AnthropoCine' to cover both my interests more closely.
Blame indecisiveness, blame covid, blame whatever you want, but I'm here for my audience of zero people and I want an excuse to scream into the void.
Though this whole thing may have started out as a university assignment, abandoning it as soon as the deadline came and went while something was brewing felt like wasted potential.
With a rebrand and a fully developed frontal lobe, I'm ready to see if this will be worth starting. My schedule is very sporadic, so there are currently no promises of any form of consistency; subscribe to stay posted.
