For a little context:

I have a MSc in Climate Change from UCL, and film has always been one of my long running interests (I almost studied film until I quickly remembered I'm not rich and therefore need a viable degree). I named this blog AnthropoCine, after the anthropocene, our current epoch where we're finally seeing and feeling the impact human activity is having on the world's ecosystems.

I feel that though the climate crisis affects every industry, there is a lack of focus on how climate change is depicted by and affects the film and television industries, and I'd like to put a spotlight on that. For the moment expect thinkpieces and retrospectives on various films and topics, and the odd essay/rant. Of course, film reviews will be included!
